Our Purchasing Manager, within the NTE group, ensures the functional procurement activities for the company’s needs, guaranteeing compliance with the qualitative, quantitative, economic and financial standards of purchases. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, his function has these purposes:

• Ensures purchasing activity in terms of quality, quantity, timing and cost in line with company requirements
• Manages the day-to-day activities of the purchasing department, coordinates the team, assigns tasks
• Plans, develops and implements purchasing strategies, agreed with Supply Chain Manager
• Searches for new, more favorable procurement opportunities (new partners, suppliers, co-makers, etc.)
• Monitors supplier relationships and conducts key negotiations by drafting and/or collaborating on contract clauses
• Develops purchasing budgets in accordance with the project manager
• Monitors and analyzes the department’s KPIs
• Achieves company goals in terms of savings
• Manages scheduling and internal relations with other business divisions involved in procurement activities
• Coordinates projects in the procurement area
• Introduces digital innovation tools (cost data analysis & plant market trends) into programming (nice to have).

Required:

• Experience in the role of Purchasing Manager of at least 3 years in industrial plant engineering or contract machine building companies.
• Familiarity with national/international contracting.
• Knowledge of technical drawing and/or basic P&ID interpretation skills (nice to have)
• Willingness to travel domestically/internationally (10% year)
• Very good knowledge of the English language

SERVICE TECHNICIAN - MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN ON SITE

The person we are looking to recruit, after an appropriate period of on-the-job training, will be responsible, in conjunction with colleagues in the office and on site, for carrying out technical interventions on site, ensuring the resolution of problems requiring intervention and promoting the sale of spare parts and maintenance contracts.

The selected person will personally follow up on maintenance and plant improvement orders, assist with installation and commissioning at the customer’s premises and/or support the commissioning team or site manager.

Required:

• Good written and spoken English

LABORATORY & TEST PLANT MANAGER - MILLING DIVISION

The person we are looking for will have full responsibility for the department following an adequate period of support, in particular will be responsible for:

• Keep up-to-date with national and international regulations, so that equipment and instruments comply with market standards;
• use laboratory instruments to analyse the physical properties of materials (e.g. granulometer, microscope, etc.);
• carry out the laboratory analyses and characterisation of products with the preparation of the relevant reports and sheets, and subsequent archiving;
• prepare the Pilot Plant for the test to be carried out (e.g. plant setting, modifications according to customer requirements);
• perform pre-tests and tests (with and without customer);
• if necessary, support the Service Department at the customer’s site (start-ups);
• use and, if necessary, develop applications for test management and archiving, as well as machine maintenance and pilot plant manuals;
• Plan test execution activities in cooperation with customers;
  – draw up final test reports;
• Ensure the decorum and cleanliness of the Pilot Plant, of the areas affected by the test after it has been carried out, of the laboratory, of the machines on display and, in general, of the Research Centre, possibly supporting the cleaning staff.
• Required:
  Degree or diploma in Chemistry or Mechanics;
  Previous experience of at least 2 years in a chemical/industrial laboratory or similar role;
• Preferably coming from the world of machinery or industrial process plants;
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English;
• Willingness to travel Italy/ Abroad (approx. 20 % per year).

AUTOMATION ENGINEER - PROJECT MANAGER

The person we are looking for will be part of a work team and, depending on his or her previous experience, will be responsible for the automation of the orders entrusted to him or her. Specifically, the activity involves:

• Acquisition and interpretation of customer requirements.
• Technical choices in the field of plant automation (electrical and software).
• Requests for supplier offers.
• Drafting of technical documentation.
• Hardware and software system implementation.
• Programming/supervision of PLC, HMI, SCADA software.
• Field service and commissioning.

The nature of the role involves constant interaction with colleagues from the various technical departments involved in the job order, customers and suppliers. It is expected that the person selected, following an adequate period of coaching and training, will become autonomous in the management of the jobs entrusted to him/her and a stable point of reference for the Automation and Control department.

It is required:

• Similar experience of at least 3 years.

CAD PROJECT MANAGER

The person we are looking for, based on his/her experience and following an adequate period of coaching, will be responsible for the technical management of all directly assigned jobs. As CAD Project Manager, he/she has the task of managing a more or less complex project and bringing it to conclusion respecting the time and budget constraints set from a mechanical point of view.

In particular he/she has to:

• plan, coordinate resources and monitor the progress of the project towards the achievement of the objectives;
• define the times for realization and delivery of order supplies on the basis of the customer’s specifications;
• review the technical tables to be sent to production and ensure compliance with all regulations;
  supervise the assembly phases by interacting with the workshop;
• interact with suppliers and manufacturers for all the mechanical parts;
• participate in technical meetings both with customers and with other project team colleagues.

It is required:

• Master’s Degree in Engineering or similar (preferential but non-binding requirement).
• At least 4 years’ experience as a project designer (of machines) and/or mechanical Project Manager (of plants).
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical design softwares (Autocad 2D/Inventor 3D) (preferred requirement).
• We also evaluate graduates but with at least 8 years of experience in plant design and external resource management.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Good communication skills (internal and external).

MECHANICAL DESIGNER

The ideal person is a Mechanical Designer who will be included in the technical office team and will have the task of creating 3D models and 2D technical tables. He/she will report directly to the Project Management for the verification of the documents produced.

In particular, he/she will deal with:

• three-dimensional modeling of the machines that will make up the plant;
• creation of 2D tables for the construction of the equipment;
• respect of delivery times.

It is required:

• Three-year degree in mechanical engineering (preferential but non-binding requirement).
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Mechanical Designer (of machines).
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical design softwares (preferable but not binding Autocad 2D/Inventor 3D).
• We also evaluate graduates but with a technical diploma (mechanical expert, etc.) and proven experience in technical offices.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
