The Project Manager (PM), reporting to the Operations Director, acts as the main interface with the customer and is functionally responsible for the internal project organisation, provided by the company structure, in a “matrix” scheme. He/she is ultimately responsible for the project in terms of time, costs and quality.
In relation to the above activities, he/she is responsible for planning (scheduling, economic-financial resources and personnel), managing the project work group through the company departments. Depending on their experience, the person we are looking for will, after an appropriate period of training, be responsible for managing all directly assigned orders. As a PM, they will be responsible for managing a project, of varying complexity, and bringing it to completion in accordance with the contractually agreed constraints. In particular, they must:
- Design the technical and financial architecture of the project(s)
- Plan, coordinate resources and monitor the progress of the project towards the achievement of its objectives
- Define the timing for completion and delivery of contract supplies based on customer specifications
- Organise internal (project team) and external (client) meetings to ensure the project is managed correctly and to prevent any critical issues
- Monitor the financial profitability of the contract and compliance with administrative terms, highlighting in advance any situations that do not align with the initial plan
Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ previous experience as a Project Manager in the management of projects relating to the design, construction and installation of plants
- Degree in Engineering or similar
- Previous experience in Project Engineering is preferable
- Good knowledge of English
- Good communication skills (internal and external)
- Good negotiation skills to decide on resource allocation, budget and possible project changes. In addition, you must be able to negotiate with a wide variety of stakeholders (customers, managers, suppliers, etc.)
- Conflict management skills, i.e. recognising, preventing and managing situations by adopting a positive and proactive attitude
- Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad (on average 25%)
- PMP, IPMA or similar certification
- Excellent use of Office package, MS Project
- Ability to understand and process aspects of international contracts (knowledge of FIDIC standards is welcome)

Depending on the experience, the person we are looking for will be responsibility for the technical management of all directly assigned orders, following an adequate period of training. As a CAD Order Manager, he/she will be responsible for managing a project, of varying complexity, and bringing it to completion within the time and budget constraints set from a mechanical point of view. In particular, he/she will be responsible for:
- Plan, coordinate resources and monitor the progress of the project towards the achievement of objectives.
- Define the timing for completion and delivery of contract supplies based on customer specifications.
- Review technical drawings to be sent to production and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Supervise the assembly phases by liaising with the workshop.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for all mechanical aspects.
- Participate in technical meetings with both customers and other colleagues on the order team.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar (preferable but not essential).
- At least 3 years’ experience as a plant designer and mechanical project manager (for machines or plants).
- Excellent knowledge of 3D mechanical design software (Inventor 3D is preferred over other software but not mandatory).
- Ability to check and review mechanical drawings.
- Ability to read PI&D is preferable.
- We also consider graduates with at least 8 years’ experience in plant design and external resource management.
- Good knowledge of English.
