MIXING AND DRYING – TECHNOLOGY ON DISPLAY AT OUR BOOTH!
This technology is performed with Ribocone, a vertical conical blender and dryer designed to ensure high uniformity of mixing and drying up to temperatures of 350°C while maintaining a high degree of vacuum. Ribocone is developed by our partner Okawara MFG Ltd and, thanks to the combination of the helical stirrer with vortex breakers, it ensures an efficient process and a high-quality final product.
The external positioning of the motor with the helical agitator ensures a contamination-free working environment and facilitates maintenance. Among the main advantages are also minimal residence times, that prevent product degradation due to high temperatures, and rapid mixing and drying.
MILLING – TECHNOLOGY ON DISPLAY AT OUR BOOTH!
NTE Process solutions for dry grinding, micronization, and dosing are capable of achieving high levels of fineness at the micrometer level while preserving the organoleptic qualities of the raw materials. Particularly suitable for the battery industry is the JCF Series impact mill – a new combined system consisting of a horizontal grinding unit and a selection drum in a single compact machine. The product is first dosed and ground with the impact mill, which is equipped with a specially designed anti-abrasion coating, either in ceramic or extremely hard metals, which prevents metallic contamination of the product.
PNEUMATIC MIXING – TECHNOLOGY ON DISPLAY AT OUR BOOTH!
NTE Process provides a unique technology for mixing powders used in the production of anodes and cathodes, designing systems characterized by ease of cleaning and the absence of mechanical parts in contact with the product. This ensures no friction contamination from augers and screws of traditional mixers. NTE Process supplies patented special mixers – Jetmixer® M531 and Blender M244/M277 – which homogeneously mix from small batches up to 100m3 silos in a single batch using compressed air pulses or other inert gases.
PNEUMATIC DENSE-PHASE CONVEYING
NTE Process pneumatic conveying systems are successfully used for raw material processing thanks to Eco Dense-Tronic®, an innovative technology patented by NTE Process, which revolutionizes traditional technologies. By utilizing artificial intelligence – on specific plant configurations – a 40% increase in efficiency and up to 70% reduction in energy consumption compared to traditional systems are achievable. For every plant equipped with Eco Dense-Tronic®, the CO2 savings in one year is equivalent to almost 3,000 newly planted trees.
The Air Assist technology can be combined with Smartjet® M530 for dense-phase pneumatic conveying of powders and granules. Thanks to its unique construction system, Smartjet can be used for No Purge dense-phase transport, at high pressure and low speed, of powdered products.
Spray Drying is an efficient technology that, thanks to the use of patented atomizing nozzles, allows for the atomization of liquid compounds or slurries, with different viscosities, resulting – quickly and efficiently – in engineered powders with very precise particle sizes. This solution also prevents product deterioration upon contact with heat and ensures high purity of the finished product.
At the Battery Show, you can also discover the NTE Process containment solutions, including filling and unloading of bags and big bags with Glove Box or valve-based automatic systems. The workstations enable safe operations, prevent powder leaks through integrated filtering systems, offer high ergonomics, and are suitable for managing carcinogenic, hazardous, and/or OEB-certified materials.
